	Piedmont Baptist College believes that athletics are essential to the college experience and offers many opportunities for students to represent the Lord and the college in sport, either as a student-athlete or spectator. Men’s sports are basketball and soccer. For women, there is basketball and volleyball.
Piedmont is a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division II, South Region which consists of nine colleges primarily in Georgia, Mississippi and Florida. The men’s basketball team has appeared in four regional semi-final games since 1997. Men’s basketball coach Nathan Rasey was named Coach of the Year for the South Region NCCAA Division II for the 2004-05 season.
	Club Sports Students at Piedmont also participate in club sports such as co-ed softball, soccer, volleyball and basketball.
