Piedmont and Spurgeon shared a passion for Jesus Christ, a firm stand on the Word of God and a commitment to training for ministry around the world. Joining forces and pooling resources enabled both programs to have a far greater impact in reaching the world with the Truth. The merger also guaranteed that Spurgeon students and alumni would continue to have a college home and that the Spurgeon name would be recognized not only in Florida, but around the world.
