Division of Christian Ministries
Piedmont remains committed to the principle that “we must never alter our payload, but we constantly need to update our delivery system.” As Bible believers our “payload” is God’s truth as revealed in the Scriptures, and our “delivery system” refers to the principles and methods used to communicate that truth to others. While we consider the truths of God, such as the inspiration of Scripture, to be non-negotiable, we continue to look for strategies that enable us to impact our generation most effectively.

To that end, PBC offers through its Division of Christian Ministries the following programs:
1. A.A. in Christian Ministries: a two year program designed for those who wish to serve in church-related ministries such as assistant pastor or children’s director.
2. B.A. in Bible, Youth Concentration: a four-year degree program designed to train those who will serve as youth pastors in local churches.
3. B.A. in Bible, Missions Concentration: also a four-year degree program
designed to train those who plan to serve the Lord in a cross-cultural
context, particularly on a foreign field.

Meet the Division Chair

Mr. Paul Holritz

Division Chair

Hello, my name is Paul Holritz, and I am honored to Chair the Christian Ministries Division of Piedmont Baptist College.
Since 1995 I have been involved in training young men and women for global ministry. The training has taken place on multiple campuses not only in North America but in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and South America. Prior to that time, my wife, Kathy, and I served as missionaries in Japan, directing the efforts of two church planting teams on the island of Kyushu.
We began our ministry at Piedmont in July, 2002. I currently serve as Chair of the Division of Christian Ministries and direct Christian Service while my wife, Kathy, serves as Director of Admissions. We continue to be very active in overseas ministry through involvement in Piedmont’s two foreign campuses, teaching modular courses overseas and conducting mission trips.
I received my undergraduate training at Moody Bible Institute and Northern Illinois University. I hold a master’s degree in education from Tennessee Temple University, and I am currently completing a Ph.D. in leadership studies at Regent University. Kathy graduated with a B.S. degree in education from Tennessee Temple University. She is also a pianist, using her musical abilities in a variety of ministries at Piedmont Baptist College. We have four sons and two grandchildren.
