Division of Biblical Studies
The Biblical Studies Division trains and equips students of the Word of God for
twenty-first century living and ministry. Students acquire a balanced
perspective of serious biblical scholarship and applications for practical
Christian service from faculty who combine extensive academic and pastoral
experience. Piedmont Baptist College is premillennial and dispensational,
holding to the full inerrancy of the Bible.
Meet the Division Chair
It is a great honor to be associated with Piedmont Baptist College. I am a 1969 Th.B. graduate. I also met my marriage partner of 38 years, Alice Evans Willis, at PBC. She too is a graduate having received her B.R.E. in the 1968. We have three children and six grandchildren for which we are extremely grateful.
I have approximately 38 years of pastoral experience. In 1980 I received my M.Div. degree from Grace Theological Seminary, Winona Lake, Indiana. Currently I am enrolled in the Ph.D. program at Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. I find it academically and spiritually stimulating to be involved as a student and as a teacher in the work of the Lord.
The opportunity granted to me as chairperson of the Division of Biblical Studies is not taken lightly. I thank God every day for the privilege of interacting with the “cream of the crop” when it comes to servants of Christ dedicated to the cause of fulfilling the great commission at home and abroad.
