Miss Kyndra Smith
General Education Division
Biography Ms. Kyndra Smith has been teaching at Piedmont Baptist College and Graduate School since 2005 and has loved every minute of it. She enjoys watching young people grow and learn in preparation for ministry opportunities. Through the English classes that she teaches, not only do students learn how to be better communicators through writing, but also learn how to think and analyze texts, which is of great benefit to the study of God’s Word. Prior to her move to Winston-Salem, she taught missionary children in Togo, West Africa for three years. Even though it was quite hot and she did not have all of the conveniences she was used to, she enjoyed her time in Africa working with the MK’s and getting to know the Togolese and their culture. Before her missionary experience, she taught English for eight years at a Christian school in the Atlanta area. She received her undergraduate degree in English Education with a minor in music from Bob Jones University. A year later, she pursued her Masters in English Education at Clemson University.
