Mrs. Darlyn Cole
Mrs. Cole is a native “hoosier” who loves the south and her people. Growing up in a pastor’s home, surrounded by musical parents, the natural choice of a major in college was music. So off to Pensacola Christian College she went to earn her BA and MA in voice. Still desiring to grow more as a musician, Mrs. Cole earned an MM from Ball State University and studied voice with Mary Hagopian. Mrs. Cole has taught on the college level since 1990 either in the classroom or in her voice studio. She has a passion to teach her students an efficient, energized, well-communicated approach to healthy singing so they can use their singing instrument for God’s glory for many years. She and her husband, Andy, love to sing together and have performed in musicals and operas together. One of her greatest joys is to see a student take a vocal concept and then work on understanding and applying it to their singing.
